He is a graduate of Bentley University in Finance and Economics.
Prior to that, Jay was President of State Street Global Alliance, a strategic venturing firm jointly owned by State Street Global Advisors & ABP for the purpose of launching new companies globally.
A Maine native, Jay is a graduate of the University of Maine, where he holds a BA in Economics and is on the University’s Board of Visitors as well as an advisory board member to the Maine Business School. He also holds an MBA from Babson College and served on the college’s Graduate School Advisory Board.
Scott is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. In addition, he holds a JD degree from Suffolk University Law School and is licensed to practice in Massachusetts.
Chad has also worked as an independent business consultant working with clients on sales/marketing, operations, HR and IT strategy. His industry experience includes desktop, enterprise, and Web software application development, business process outsourcing (BPO), supply chain management, marketing automation, eCommerce, social media, IT strategy, and complex variable print application workflows.
Chad earned his undergraduate degree from Westminster College and holds a graduate degree (MBA) in finance from Northeastern University. In addition to Chad’s consulting work he is currently an adjunct professor at Suffolk University (Boston, MA) teaching undergraduates and graduates (MBA) in the International Business and Strategy Department.
Before that, Enio worked for ExxonMobil. He has extensive experience in international market development in multiple industries. Enio is from Brazil and a graduate of UFSCar where he received his Engineering degree. He also holds an MBA from Babson College.
He participated in the World Bank task force (GEMLOC) consulting emerging markets central banks to resolve liquidity complications in the T-bonds market.
Abdu has a BA in finance from The American University in Cairo, an MBA from Suffolk University and a Masters of Science in Finance from University of Rochester.
William is actively doing research on ‘Big Data’ expert systems, machine learning and the future of artificial intelligence. His current focus is on refining a machine learning algorithm used in predicting international corporations chance of success in the US Market.
Mike received his BS from the University of Massachusetts / Amherst and proudly served in the United States Air Force.
In the Mauá Institute of Technology he became a monitor of PLM (Project Lifecycle Management) this consist in working in a 3D software modeling. His graduation project won an Award of Entrepreneurship in Maua and a full program of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Boston College. He is now working for the IEC (International Entrepreneurship Center) as a Business Development in Brazil.
Beatriz was, among other positions, dean of undergraduate of Unifor, vice-president of the University of Mogi das Cruzes, an important private university in Brazil, director of Lobo & Associados Consulting, and vice-president of Instituto Lobo working with more than 130 client institutions (public and private, companies and government agencies) in 25 states of Brazil and some countries in Latin America and Europe until 2014. Has a long experience in services and training, and also in vocational orientation and education for work.
Roberto was a manager partner of Lobo & Associados (Lobo & Associates Consulting and Partners) and president of the Instituto Lobo (Lobo Institute) working with more than 130 client institutions (public and private, companies and government agencies) in Brazil, and also in Latin America and Europe until 2014. His most recent work was related to the theme “education for innovation” for the CNI (Brazilian Industry Confederation).
Jim’s management career started with Price Waterhouse, as a Finance, Administrative and Human Resource Manager. During his career, he has overseen all the administration, IT infrastructure, finances and day to day operation of different companies. His operational skills have produced profitability and company expansion for many mid-size businesses. In 1993, Jim became the Managing Director of International Trade Group. He started the company with an emphasis on international business concentrating on the Vietnamese market. Consulting roles grew from Viet Nam to Mexico and domestically in the US. Since then he has worked with financial consulting, resource management, and recruitment.
Jim has an MBA from Sacred Heart University and an undergraduate degree from Westminster College.
Glenn has a AB in Economics from Harvard University and a MBA in Technology from Northeastern University.
Laurie brings to the IEC a diverse professional background in sales, customer service and event planning. During her 12 year career in telecom, she served as a global account manager selling network communications solutions to Fortune 100 companies. Later in her career she joined a young online start-up that purchased precious metals, gems and fine watches from customers via 6 websites. There, she successfully built, trained and managed the customer service team, as well as helping to improve their websites and customer acquisition process. Laurie believes in leading a joyful, healthy lifestyle while working together towards a common goal. She shows her passion through her work with the non-profit Sailing Heals, Inc. and selling non-toxic personal care and household products.
Laurie earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from Northeastern University and an MBA from Babson College.
John has a BS in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Albany and a MBA from the Carroll Graduate School of Administration at Boston College.
Roberto started his pricing career at Strategic Pricing Group (now Deloitte) and has an MBA from Clark University where he has lectured future pricing professionals on the transformative impact of pricing. He has spoken at various product marketing events and has published multiple white papers on pricing strategy through the Professional Pricing Society.
At her most recent position at Coca Cola North America Daniela managed Glaceau’s 2 billion dollar brands vitaminwater and smartwater, growing the business, maintaining relationships with retail giants Target and Walmart, continuously innovating to sustain leadership in the category, increasing market share by +5% and total U.S sales by +7%.
Additionally Daniela is the President of National Association Women MBA at SU Boston working on engaging, empowering and excelling women into leadership positions. She has grown the size of the not for profit organization substantially and continuously works on extending the reach and footprint of NAWMBA.
Daniela received her Masters in Integrated Marketing Communications and her MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from Suffolk University Boston.
McCormick is the author of Year of Action – How to Stop Waiting & Start Living Your BIG, Fabulous Life – and the creator of a new kind of action-based, online business program for women. The program was written up in Forbes saying, “Erin knows what it takes to bring an idea to life. The timing is ripe for a program like this…” She earned her degree in art and psychology from Smith College.
Marcelo graduated in Business Administration from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
He has a BSCE (Civil/Structural Engineering) from the University of Maine, and a MSME (Mechanical Engineering) from Boston University.
Petia received a Master of Science in Engineering from Technical University Sofia and an MBA from Babson College.
Matthew’s style and focus are creative, open and entrepreneurial but tempered with the know-how needed to manage a business course defined by both management and market forces.
Matthew’s industry experience includes software manufacturing and software digital delivery, (on-demand content) business processing outsourcing (BPO), print application and packaging solution, purchasing materials and sourcing internationally, outsourcing IT services, greenfield recycling programs, health insurance, financial industry and real-estate. These include multi approaches to marketing and selling multiple levels of distribution to business and the end-user’s matrix, all of which means Matthew arrives with experience and strategic insight and leadership skills ,which have prepared him to serve in a variety of executive roles relating to revenue generation and operations.
He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Oakland University and has pursued post-graduate classes in finance from Wayne State University. Matthew holds a Certificate in logistics and supply chain from St. Clair Community College. He is a Licensed Health insurance agent and member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxliary.
In Boston, Andrew worked for Marsh & McLennan in handling the international needs of large local clients. Later, in Atlanta, he started a wine importing company focused on French and Italian wines while at the same time dedicated extensive time to non-profit work. He has been on the boards of two schools and numerous community organizations and the largest park in the city of Atlanta.
Andrew has a BA in History from Trinity College (CT) and an MS Management from the Hult International Business School.
Anthony is also a market research and mobile marketing lecturer at Suffolk University mentoring undergraduate students on the principles, methods, data collection, and analysis mechanisms in business and market research, as well as educating students on mobile marketing and understanding the mobile consumer and user journey, and the disruption that mobile technology has caused across various industries.
Anthony has a Global MBA from Suffolk University and a BA in Communications with a specialization in television and radio media from Curry College.
Prior to the IEC, Igor has led a 5 years restructuring and asset optimization program serving as senior director in a multi billion industrial and natural resources company in Central Asia. In this role he was accountable for developing business strategy for the entire group and units as well as functional strategies, post merger integration of acquisitions, spinning multiple none core businesses off, establishing as an independent market entities, and rolling them out.
Over the previous 12 years in global management consulting firms Igor has gained diverse experience across a wide range of industries including financial services and technologies. He has been advisor to C-suite executives, boards, and business owners on a range of most critical issues such as corporate and functional strategy, corporate development and transformation, organizational effectiveness, change management. Also, Igor worked with early stage companies helping them with marketing strategy and growth issues. He obtained international experience serving to clients from America, Europe, and Asia.

In 2003, Bob began teaching Entrepreneurship and Marketing at Babson College’s MBA program and Executive Education programs for seven years. He was twice nominated for Teacher of the Year.
Bob received his BSEE from New York University.
Most recently Mr. Oliver was a Senior Vice-President and the COO for Fuld & Company, a competitive intelligence and research consultancy. . Prior to joining Fuld & Company he was a partner at the Monitor Group where he served in various business operations roles. He joined Monitor as a part of their acquisition of Strategic Pricing Group in June 2005 where he held the position of President and Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Oliver also was a Managing Partner at the Consulting Group of CSC where he held a number of positions during his eleven years at CSC including Managing Director of the Ohio regional office, Vice President of Services, Vice President of Technology, and Vice President of Electronic Business.
Before joining CSC, Mr. Oliver was President and CEO of Just Technical Associates (JTA), a firm that specialized in technical consulting. He began his business career at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) serving in account manager, project manager, and systems engineering roles.
Mr. Oliver has an Industrial engineering degree from the University of Oklahoma and served as an Officer in the Navy during the Vietnam era.
